Why Photography?

Hey, I'm Ashley! I truly cannot believe that I have the opportunity to do something that I can say brings me pure joy. If I'm not taking pictures, you would probably find me at home taking care of my 4 daughters, the sources of where my seriousness for photography began.

My love for photography started back when I was in high school when I got my first smart phone in 2014. After a couple of years of experimenting with the new "Portrait mode", I decided I wanted to get my first DSLR camera. I think that's when my love for taking photos began to grow deeper, but it wasn't until I started having kids in 2017 when it began to mean something more. I was a stay-at-home mom for 3 years. I was blessed with having so much time with my girls. And in that time, I was able to capture so many amazing moments with my camera. I will admit I was stuck in auto mode for a long time. It wasn't until recently that I learned and developed an understanding for manual mode. Having full control of my camera and how my pictures turn out has been a page turner for my photography. For years I have been dreaming of these photos I've wanted to capture, and now I have the opportunity to make those dreams come true for you too. I am so excited to bring your visions to life!
